"I am a full time student at OCtech in Orangeburg South Carolina seeking a degree in Computer Technology (IT). In addition to going to school I am also active in my Church, hold down two jobs and play basketball."

"Freedom means everything to me. Not only is it a right that I have as an American, but it is a privilege I have to freely express my beliefs, feelings, thoughts, and opinions. This past year in 2008 I was able to express my opinion by voting in the November election for President of the United States. This was the first year I was able to vote due to age and registration and it left me with an overwhelming feeling of importance and freedom. I felt like my voice had finally been heard, and more importantly, it was noted.

Many people believe that one person cannot make a difference in our world, but history has proven that a single voice can stir the hearts and minds of many. Youth in America are especially shy to expressing their beliefs because so many times persecution follows because someone is offended. I believe that freedom is one of the single most important things that an individual can posses because it allows us to live young and free.
