Here is Alisa's current situation:
"Hey there, I'm Alisa! I go to Trident Technical College for Film and Associate in Arts degree. I volunteer at the local VFW and write and record songs when I have the time. I'm always ready to get out there and help others!"
Here is Alisa's blog post:
"If all sisters were like mine, nobody would be bored.
At only age 13, she's a handful to reckon with, but probably the most hilarious person that I know. She doesn't care who dislikes her style; she'll promptly joke, "Uh-uh, girlfriend," and smile her devious little smile. She's born a natural redhead, and was gifted with the short tempered anger to go with it. (Of course she'd be named Amber, the color of her head). On top of that, my entire family is all pretty obnoxious around one another; it's our little game of war. But don't worry, it's all just friendly fire.
My sister doesn't even look like me, except in the face. She's taller and a little rounder than I, but still just as pretty as the rest of our family, (at least that's what I tend to believe). With my dirty blonde hair, and her redhead attraction (everybody stops and says, "what pretty hair you have!"), we seem to be a couple of old friends hanging out. I, being almost 19, have never really looked my age, if younger, and she was quite the opposite. We don't act like normal, teeth-gritting siblings either. She's more of a "best-est friend," for when I'm down and out.
She can never get the words of the English language quite right. Instead of reading a sign that said "adult supervision," she said "superadult vision." For "lamenting," she read it as "laminating" in a hymnal one day at a church supper. And just one bright day, when she was mad at our father for making a "sarcastic" joke, she told him promptly to "Stop being so 'jurrastic'!" She doesn't mean to make these wordy mistakes, but it's just how she is.
Amber is probably the most amazing sibling anybody could have. She would say the same: all you have to do is ask.
Alisa"
