"Why can't I keep a cell phone? I received my first cell phone my sophomore year in college. It was a Motorola v120 that lit up in blue. I didn't see the big deal about cell phones because to me they were just another monthly bill. That is until I got one. It was so handy and convenient for an individual no matter your location until I dropped it so hard that the screen froze. I was lost without it and I didn't get another phone for another two months, only to dropped that one in a mud puddle after three months of usage.

Since 2003 I have had approximately 15 phones that wished they never met me. I've had them washed in the washing machine, ran over with a car, continuously dropped from various heights, stolen from me, destroyed by infants, and left or lost in public places(malls, bars, schools, etc.) In fact, I am currently waiting on a new phone to arrive as of now, because my current one just has given up on our relationship. I don't think I make a good partner when it comes to phones. Oh well, we will see how long this one last.
