APPLICANT #26: Is LeAnn Cannon the Young & Free SC Spokesperson?

LeAnn Cannon is a 20-year-old student from Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

Here is LeAnn's video application:

Here is LeAnn's current situation:

"I am passionate about photography, film, music, and video. I am currently studying Film at Trident Technical College and working part-time as a video editor/production assistant. I worked on three episodes of "Army Wives" Season 2 as a camera intern. My photography has been published in online and print magazines/journals. In 2007, I won twice in a national NBC project/contest called "It's Your Show TV." I understand the value that South Carolina Federal Credit Union brings to our world. With my skills and experience I know how to creatively let other 18 to 25 year olds in on that value."

Here is LeAnn's blog post:

"Stop motion is an animation technique used to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own.

The normal frame rate for video is 29 frames per second and the frame rate for film is 24 frames per second. So, basically what you do is set up a still, video, or film camera and take one frame of your scene. Then, you adjust the scene and repeat the process each time your scene should change or when something should move.

Some famous film makers who utilize stop motion include Tim Burton ("The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Corpse Bride," etc.), Disney, etc. I am by no means an expert in the field of stop motion. But, in 2007 I created my first stop motion video, "The Unknown," and composed the music for a national contest/project for NBC called "It's Your Show TV." It went on to win the Stop Motion Challenge! Here is a link to "The Unknown."
